This project has taken quite a bit of time and effort on behalf of both our company and the client. Integrating timbers into a stick frame build can be a challenge, but it can be done. The team has had a number of meetings to make sure that all involved are aware of what needs to be done and how it will look when completed…which is going to be great! Most of the timbers are 8″ x material, but some longer pieces of up to 12″ are in the mix. So, if you have noticed a new trend in the housing market it is this – lots of timbers integrated into a regular build instead of a full-on timber frame, which is alright….I guess.
